Our first fundraising event was so much fun!

Last night, Friends & Family Bar (Oakland, CA) hosted a cocktail class to benefit Franky’s Fund (the Francesca Ginocchio Memorial Fund).

It was fabulous. Blake Cole, owner and master craftswoman of delicious fusions of fine spirits and elegant ideas, led us through one elixir after another, teaching us the finer points of a whiskey sour, gin gimlet, and wickedly delicious daiquiri. We were practically grooving to our inner mambo beat as we took up our shakers and strained each cocktail into its chilled highball or martini glass. It was so much fun, and such a great way to get all of Francesca’s (Franky’s) friends and family together, we might do it again!
